"Porto" Portuguese waiting for tourists


"Porto", the second city of Portugal, at the confluence of "Duro" and the Atlantic Ocean River in northern Portugal. It was an important commercial city and Roman sites, which are among the oldest cities in Europe, and have cultural and historical landmarks prestigious. In "Porto", tourists are advised to visit:
| "Ribera" prefers to initiate the tour in "Porto" from "Rbebara", the historical area belonging to the Middle Ages and the neighboring River "Duro". In the "Praça da Ribeira", leading to the cobbled main square narrow streets stretching, relaxing where locals and tourists, and pleasant views of the mouth of the river. In addition to the availability of many restaurants offering seafood, is "Ribera" a popular spot and the starting point of the tourist boat trips.
| "Clerigos": Designed Italian painter and architect Nicolau Nasona the tower, according to the model of the "baroque", in the eighteenth century. Rises "Clerigos" for about 75 meters, making it one of the most tallest buildings in the north of Portugal. Rewarded with visitors who arrive to the top of the tower with panoramic views of the city and the mouth of the "Duro" River.
